Our client is a well-known luxury retail brand. Due to rapid expansion, they are looking for an Account Manager to drive the brand's sales growth in South East Asia.

Purpose of the role:

  • Develop and foster strong business relationship with customers, connecting with key business executives and stakeholders
  • Analyse and report key market developments
  • Manage and execute retail presentation, training and brand building activities
  • Plan, manage and drive sales strategy initiatives
  • Manage execution of branding strategies
  • Ensure alignment of the brand objectives across stores
  • Be the business driven and go to brand expert

Key Responsibilities
Sales and Marketing

  • Develop annual budgeting plans, monthly estimates and forecast risks & opportunities
  • Mastermind sales strategies and initiatives to drive business growth
  • Collaborate with buyer to maximize product offerings
  • Monitor and influence inventory health
  • Identify and communicate large product development opportunities to the branding team, buying team and global merchandising team
  • Foster and manage relationship with distributors
  • Communicate brand strategy, initiatives and goals to ensure brand alignment with distributors

Business Development and Management

  • Identify and manage business development processes
  • Collaborate with landlord and visual merchandising team on the development and execution of new and existing stores
  • Monitor market trends of the competition in respective markets
  • Resolve any issues on ground with distributors
  • Support retail execution, education and manage distributors across key markets in South East Asia.

Key Requirements

  • At least 7 years' experience in retail and international wholesale
  • Able to communicate and work well with multiple stakeholders
  • Have strong influencing and negotiation skills
  • Have a track record of successfully driving business initiative
  • Have experience in leading and developing a dynamic and high performance team
  • Able to converse fluently in English and Mandarin will be an advantage
  • Willing to travel regionally ~approx. 50% of the time
